Quality Analyst
Responsibilities
Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Odoo implementations and customizations.
Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, verify fixes, and ensure the overall
quality of our Odoo solutions.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand
requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Document test results, defects, and other relevant information in our defect tracking system.
Participate in project meetings, providing updates on testing progress and raising any
quality-related concerns.
Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during
testing.
Perform regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed and new functionality does not
introduce unintended consequences.
Continuously improve our testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and
effectiveness.
Stay up-to-date with Odoo best practices, updates, and new features to ensure that our
solutions leverage the latest capabilities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3-4 years of experience as a Quality Analyst, with a focus on testing Odoo implementations and
customizations.
Strong understanding of the Odoo framework, including modules, workflows, and customization
capabilities.
Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Odoo projects.
Familiarity with both manual and automated testing techniques and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
environment.
Experience with defect tracking and management tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Odoo certification(s) preferred.
